    Default Bent fins

Just wondering if anyone had ever seen the fins on a compressor wheel bend and what kind of conditions would have to exists for this to happen. I ask because all i have seen in the compressor wheels shatter or the fins brake off.

ive had my compressor housing come loose once and rub my fins.... they were bent and left a gap between the cassete and the housing where the wheel got ate up. the turbo spooled faster and was a shit ton louder.... but it didnt make as much boost as before.....

It depends on how damaged the fins are... post pictures and that will give us a better idea.

This is a Hybrid turbo using the rear housing off the stock FC3S turbo and a t04e front side. These are the pics that the seller sent me, I how ever am having second thoughts about purchasing it.

if you wanna buy a turbo thats been dropped go ahead... it would make a horrible paper weight..... you better think more than twice about putting it to use.

    my two cents

I was spoke with my mechanic about replacing the front wheel, but I think I will wait it out and pick up a new one from BNR super cars.
