Oh I know where it came from, people just read shit on the internet and assume that its true when in reality its just not. A top mount intercooler is not more consistent by any means. Its smaller and takes less time to fill, by less time we are talking barely noticeable. I need not reply, emmino pretty much said it.....and BTW that info came from one of your WRX/STi forums......and from what I read (like a year ago so I don't remember where) only the WRX has the problem, not the STi.
Not saying I am right, just stating what I read on the WRX/STi forums.
