Basically the fockers tried to very very very loosely interpret the law and got boned for it. They basically tried to sell a JDM legal Skyline as a "kit car".

Those are NOT kit cars, they are registered vehicles in Japan.

Unless they got the best lawyer ever and a judge they know, they will lose this case.
