I asked Dan for a Foxbody!!!! He said maybe. I wanted a teal one

He wants to go with something "new". So, Honda is out. We have thought about the SUV thing, but it's not so great for a fun day at the track.

I think all of the cars seem built to their potential, but maybe that's why Dan is considering these. He wants to try to do something that seems impossible. I'm not sure. I am just guessing based on what I know about him. We shall see. We had been seriously considering the CTSV because he likes what he has researched about the engine and it's a 4 door. We would like to be able to look a little classier when we ride up to the downtown restaurants for once Instead of clanking and clanging all over the place in a car with a huge ass wing :P

I would say the CTS-V because the Z06 and most of the other cars are done by many other shops, if you all pull of a good CTS-V thats good at just about everything (which im sure you all will), you all will get alot more respect than just doing another GT500 or Z06 like every other shop

From a business viewpoint? New GTR, develop things for it, and R&D.

I'll be the driver for free, and if I don't win, you can have my car. (no joke)

lololol! I'm sure they'll appreciate your motivation but how can you justify racing a 1,000 hp car that they would be investing 6 figures into. They get your Miata if you don't win or crash their car? What sanctioning bodies do you have competition licenses with?

Thanks for the offer!!!! Considering we have 3 of our own drivers and a moooch or 2 hanging around the shop (ahem Big Baller) we have the driving covered. You could however run a BG sticker on your car and if you win, we'll give you 3 dyno pulls!!! I kid!

Allen, stfu. We sold our Supra for a reason. Played out since 1995.

QD, I mentioned the new part in a post I made in here...but we may also get an older car depending on how this car goes. I been wanting an oooold car.

Build an XLR-V. Twin Turbo 427ci with complete suspension setup. I wish someone would put the XLR front on a vette.

Well shit we'll give you 3 dyno pulls for a sticker, but how would 3 dyno pulls help? That's just diagnostic.

Simon, you win an event with our sticker on your car and we'll give you 3 dyno pulls. Must have PROOF. Then we will take it from there. Not low level SCCA. Let me know when you go and we will discuss more.

Jason, Dan is looking at the Ultima and some other kit cars. Be nice if we could afford this: http://www.moslerauto.com

Real mods require tuning. You have yet to say what car it is, what software, anything.

Mmm...I was looking at Mosler late last night to see how their frames are but they're tubular steel just like Factory Five GTM.

I will be making a visit to Mosler soon since they're in Riviera Beach, it's nice that they're fairly local compared to Ultima being in England. An old roommate of mine took a car down to a race shop next door and picked me up a couple Mosler posters while he was there when the MT900 first went into production in '01.

Im voting other and gonna pull a car outta my ass on this one too.

A 91-95 Acura Legend. Reason being: the car could be capable of alot, but needs people with the know how to make it. Seeing your work, it would be a very good platform, that has potential but is often overlooked.

The engine is a 3.2L and can be powerful, stock it moves the heavy car with everything in about 15seconds down the quarter.

I know its a long shot, but i thought Id give it a try.

You know this is Batlground right? They were running 9's nearly a decade ago on street tires.

That and why bother building a car that will already make you look like Michael Schumacher?

    R34 Skyline GTR
    Played out
    Couldn't agree more.

    C6 Corvette Z06
Gets my vote (played out, sure, but it would be nice to see an import shop build a domestic) and it would finally shut tracy up if you got one :P
Doesn't get my vote. Car already has power, more than an enough info on how to make power, etc, etc, honestly its simply too easy.

    2009 CTSV with supercharger
Arent they already supercharged? But why build a Caddy when you can build a vette
Why build a vette when you could build a Caddy? I still think this one's too easy as well.

    GT500 Ford Mustang
    hate fords
Don't necessarily hate but still think this is too easy as well

    Viper ACR
    played out
    That and too easy lol

    Pontiac G8
Love the G8s! gets my vote
Depends on which version but also gets mine.

    Lexus SC300 with 2JZGTE
    played out
    Agreed

    Lexus ISF
too nice of a car to do anything too
ISF gets my first vote/choice. Not a lot of people have gotten serious power out of these things and this would be a great opportunity for Batlground to show its capabilties as fabricator and researcher.

Ya 3k with interior. Thats why i threw it from outta my ass!

They offered an other, I replied. No harm done.

And the engine has potential..........only a few have tried.

They wanted something different......its different alright. I just get tired of seeing the same builds and buzz over cars that have been built before. I mean I dont see anything really unique in their list of cars in the poll. And because of their past, i figured they would want a challenge.

I mean while a legend hasnt been made rwd, the engine has been used in a few RWD conversions (while mainly on civics.) Was worth a shot.
