You may have been fine on just the MAP sensor before, but the fact that you installed a turbo kit that was untuned, and drove it WITHOUT FIXING THE EXISTING PROBLEM kinda shows that you have no idea what you are doing. No offense.
If you know what a TPS is then you should know the consequences of riding around on a bad one.
Unless you had a T15 turbo on it, you stated you hit boost. That means you were at least around 4000-5000 rpms on that 1.5L motor. No turbo builds boost at idle. Any amount of positive manifold pressure, combined with a faulty TPS makes for an easy diagnosis for why your motor blew up.
The BLOX TPS should fix your problem ,if the TPS sensor itself is bad. Why dont you try fixing it instead of throwing parts at it. All you have to do is use a volt meter to see if its working properly.
You were kinda insinuating that Scotty or maybe the shop had something to do with your motor blowing up. I was telling you that an ECU is a basemap, and YES it is totally possible with a broken TPS for you to blow your motor up that fast.
