Default Need some talking out of.

SO I have been looking at buying a new DD with some oomph and some luxury, unfortunately i have to buy an SUV because I have two German Shepherds that the vet thinks are going to be in the 130+lbs range also I have fire gear and soon will have to tote around SWAT gear. So I have been doing a lot of research and thus far I am falling in love with the SRT-8 Grand Cherokee. Can any one offer a reason I should not get one, or are they as bad ass as every one makes em out to be?
Example of what I want mine to look like.

Personally i would def take the SRT over the SS, they are substantially faster, look way cooler and the interior is nicer.

This is all just my opinion though.

Go test drive each. I know Marcin (ultraZ?) has an SRT8, ask him how it is.

The SRT8 is a lot faster, right now I am in the process of reading all stories of when things go bad. IE-TBSS barfing transmission parts onto the high way ( semi-regular occurrence) and JGC SRT8 with exploding Transfer cases and diffs. Its gonna come down to test driving and availability I guess.

ONLY reason NOT to get one...they are AWD.

other than that, I love those trucks to death! The truck you posted would look SOOO much sexier if he pulled the headlights apart and did the chrome...black!
