they are about the same in terms of strength, but the y8 uses a lot of knock feedback stock b/c of the vtec head and timing scheme. the d-series vtec don't add a lot of extra power stock or basic boosted builds. i prefer the y7 over the y8 (i like to keep it as simple as possible), but if someone has a y8 and it's tuned it can last a good while too.Originally Posted by LongLiveH2b
