stuck caliper? help

So the other day i noticed my brakes started to grab wayyy further down then it use to, but they still stopped the car no problem. So bled the brakes. work fine, for about a month. Then it did it again. The car stops fine but it doesnt start stopping till the pedal is 3/4th of the way down.
So i go to bleed the brakes again today and noticed only a little bit of fluid come out of the driver side rear bleeder screw. I have my friend stand on the brakes and i can freely turn the wheel. But when the e-brake is on it locks it up. whats the problem? I have fluid. the brakes didnt get stiffer this time when i bled it. Do i have a stuck caliper?

Do you have actuating calipers in the rear? Tried pushing the piston in?

rear is disk, so yea. i havent tried that, but i know the piston is moving b/c the e-brake locks the wheel. I'm just stumped on what is up.

...which is why I asked if they were actuating or not. If they are then the piston should move fine. If they aren't, then there are parking brake shoes that press up against the inside diameter of the rotor, which is a separate system in itself.

yea, they are actuating. pass side works find, driver rear seems to be weak. like when i go to bleed it, the fluid dribbles out instead of squirting.

edit: all in all, this guys problem sounds just like mine, accept mine doesnt get stiff after the 20 seconds of no pumping.

The parking brake manually actuates the caliper via a cable and a threaded, rotating piston.

Check for leaks within the entire system. Check fluid level. I assume your friend pumps the pedal until it's firm, you release pressure via the bleeder screw, and it dribbles out. Repeat bleeding this caliper until you see more fluid. I believe there might be a good bit of air in the system.

fluid level is fine. was told by another prob the MC seals going out,
But i will spend a good bit before hand trying to bleed any air outta the system first thing tomorrow. thanks.
