ok guys iam wondering who is using the n-tercooler kits and if its worth the $ and have you tested them on a dyno and seen any power gains?

when we didi the turbo kit on the galant it made an extra 16 hp on the dyno with that kit.Originally Posted by benwaballs
I have it and have noticed no damn gains from it, except what the company suckered me out of! LOL
unless you are just out of things to do, i think there are better things to spend money on.. sure a intercooler cooler is nice... but the gain is minimal and the effects dont last long. for drag racing i can see it being somewhat worth it.. but then again it may be off set by the amount it weighs.

it sucks i got one its lame looks cool thats it
yea thats about it.... only thing left is build the blockOriginally Posted by Spyder Man
Power gains is very marginal. I have one and barely use it.
sure look like 2 F 2 F ....lol
i was looking at the same thing for my dub, i want to do NAAWWWSS but hear very bad things about dubs and nitrous
you will gain about 15-20 hp, so ass high as 40hp like on an evo...i got one on my mr2 and it works good, i gained 24hp with it...but we all have our opinions...its not made to be run all the time anyways, so drag racing and dyno pulls is where you would be using the spray...cooler air is always better![]()

Now guys making 45 HP with intercooler kit...it was a proven fact at DYNOLAB that the over spray can and will get sucked into the CAI..creating big gains because of course its almost the same as spraying your intake...DANGEROUS ,when unoticed, esp with a turbo'd car!!!
A couple of WRX guys have noticed their cars running very lean when using Ntercooler setups.
Spend the money on alky or meth injection instead. It's like running race gas every day.

guys, i hate to point this out but alky or meth injection is just like nitrous injection, it requires a tank, and it is only a temporary soloution to make a little more power. yes, i know water injection and such can make HUGE short term gains. this intercooler sprayer is the same thing.
:boobies:
then they were to lean to begin with. cooling air makes it more dense, hence it fucks with your a/f ratio a LITTLE bit, not enough to run dangerously lean..Originally Posted by GTScoob

damn... then go for it lol.Originally Posted by benwaballs

convert to a nitrous kit and amke 50-100whp if you have it and dont want to use it
