Ok, that is the MINIMUM it would take to make 700whp, and do it reliably. i may have shot a little high on the turbo kit, but its pretty clsoe to that price. I cnat justify all my prices if you guys want to argue. Hell, pick up the phone and call Peter, he'll tell you what it would cost to build his hatch (makes 700+whp and runs 9.9s).

Its 20K once its all said and done. Remember this is just the engine and transmission and turbo kit. you have no chassis, no rollcage, no racing seat and NDRA approved harnesses, no suspension, no strut bars, no upgraded axles, etc. you get my point

you asked, my opinion

$20,000 to have a civic run 10s and make over 700whp. that would be everything including the car.

no way in hell could you do it for $10,000. those that say you can, havent done it, and dont know what it takes.

Remember this is virtually you doing all the labor and the swap , wiring everything yourself.
