Once you roll in the throttle you can't notice the total speed. All you focus on is trying to keep the front wheel down. But I hit 163 the other day on 411 to Rome Ga. I just noticed that I was in 4th and went into 5th still pulling hard. I then looked down at the speedo.. and I was stunned. I quickly let off of the throttle and swore I wouldn't ever go that far in 4th ever again. LOL I really don't like going that fast.. it scares me too much. But I just got a little carried away.

Max speed I've gone in a car is 145 and that was in my roommates old VR4 on 75 racing a C5 auto vette. That was fast enough in a landboat

Most of the cars ive owned dont have a speedo that reads anything significant. I've gone 170ish on a bike. Hard to get an exact number because @ that speed the wind feels like hes its going to snatch you off and youre hanging on for dear life. 160 in the Nissan below according to my friend beside me on his CBR600.
speedo stops at 160 on the z....went way past that, id say 170+
I recently got up to 161, still a couple mph left to squeeze out but I'd run out of room already.. was an interesting bit of braking.
There was a screenshot way back in june of last year on this thread of a CTS-V speedo at 189, I'd just like to call shenanigans on that one; he switched the instrument cluster to metric and just drove 112mph and took a pic. SHENANIGANS.

i did 105 in my max on 316 on the way back from riverside once.
the speedo was prolly off so i was prolly doing like 98mph
it was kinda sketchy.

I guess I should explain my vote... I drive a 2006 Honda Accord Coupe COMPLETELY stock, but for my 21st Birthday I was surprised by my Grandparents with the opportunity to drive their good friend's Lamborghini Murcielago LP640, in a controlled environment of course. They live in an Airpark Community that was developed by my Grandfather to allow Pilots to have airplane hangars in their backyards and use the community runway to fly at their will. After an hour or so of learning how to drive a supercar such as the LP640 I was guided onto the runway by the car's owner and told to go as fast as I could get the car to go... I got 5 up and downs and on the second run I reached 160mph... without the pedal to the floor. It was an incredible experience, certainly one I'll never forget, but coming from someone that rarely goes 10mph over the speed limit it was scary as hell. To actually sit in the driver's seat of a car that has that much power and is worth almost $400K is a far cry from watching one go all out on YouTube. I'll never forget that day... but yeah, that's my story. Without that experience my answer would be 80mph.
140 on 475 south, on my way 2 school cause i was runnin late i hit 140 going under zebulon rd bridge...man that was wild...and ive rode passenger in my buddys sti doing 170. i think i could handle faster lol.
150 in my crx and 160 on my r6
80mph on my old CBR600RRDidn't care to go any faster.
