Kiddracing header on ebay.

i thought it was pretty interesting.

These headers were custom made by a guy named Randy Monroe (RMF) and they were about $950-1100 and took over 9 months to be built not to mention the time also needed to ship the headers.

Yea I think he buys the header's and throws his name on it and sells it locally.

I know at least for the H22 Hytech and RMF replica header's are made somewhere, then businesses buy them from the vendor and sell them under their own name.
I seen it done with lots of different car parts before.

I am pretty sure KiDDRacing doesn't currently make headers, he just sell them.

Tons of companies are like this. For example, Scytek makes their own alarms but they also take their same alarms and sell them to other companies that sell them under their name. You would be suprised how many companies do not make their own products.

they are made in bulk, purchased in bulk and individual businesses stamp their name on them. I know exactly where these are/were made. Not in U.S tho.

It's a copy just like every other header. Everyone and their momma copied the Hytech header.

Company in China get's the header, sets up a jig and pumps them out.

I don't know if the OP is trying to bash him. It seems that the OP may have thought that someone was buying Mike's headers and selling them as his. The OP may not have known how this business works and thought that Mike made his own header. Later, QD.

1) The RMF Style Narrow headers are MINE. I sent my real one overseas, i had them produced, i imported them. I have dealers that also sell that i sell to in bulk. So you will see them popping up under different names.

2) They are mass produced overseas

3) Some stuff i sell i actually manufacture or its my idea, some stuff i buy in bulk from my business partner.

4) I highly doubt ANYONE knows where these are being made specifically.


I pretty much offer the high end headers at 1/3 the price to the average joe looking to make power. I also wholesale to people all around the world.

Oh and that guy on ebay isnt saying its real, he was saying the REAL ONES were $800+ and a 9 month wait, this is a replica thats available for shipment asap.

I tend not to do much business on ebay cause i hate the people on there. I stick to Honda-Tech, ClubRSX and other forums.

you couldnt "order" this header from china because i own the contract rights to it, and my business partner owns the factory. We own the jig/mold.

Now someone could copy mine or make their own, sure, but that takes at least 2-4 months to do a production run and get them over here. And we have sold over 200+ units since december so far, so the market is getting saturated.

As far as cost, you can get them for $80 if you want junk. But we actually pay alot more per unit because we use better grade stainless, flanges, thicker metal, etc.

Anyways, if you see any of "my" headers being sold (as in they have the KiddRACING name ,note the hytech header is not a kiddracing header) they came from me someway or another.

And this guy on ebay isnt selling under his own name, hes doing what EVERYONE else is doing, selling them as RMF STYLE headers.

Its not like hes calling them "XXXXMOTORSPORTS" header or something.

The only place the NARROW header is called a KIDDRACING header is on Honda-tech and IA. Plus, all the pics everyones using are mine, they just right click save as
