yea i love the goldish tint it'll last about 3 weeks that color, wish mine can stay that way.

I got a MSPi magnaflow Catback to, but i went with the 3inch piping w/ 3inch resonator and 3inch Muffler and actually gained TQ instead of a loss, since most NA cars gain HP but a loss in TQ, H & K-series love the 3inch piping, with the RMF header and the 3" exhaust i gained 14whp and 6-8tq from 3800-7500rpm over a DC sport header, 177->191whp imagine if it was stock headers compared to the RMF.

Thats crazy how your gaining that power from your 2Krpm range, are your butterflie valves still connected and are you using a P72 ecu or a P28, I want to take mine off but i have to get it retuned since it'll run leaner since mine is already tuned with the butterflies.

i drove on the stock header and a horrible exhaust for a week...garrrrbage.

I couldnt believe the dyno pull he did when i heard vtec amost instantly. Me and Baby J looked at each other like "wtf". it is crazy on the street too. ur in vtec so soon u barely notice....after 3500 its just pullin like is being towed by a vette at WOT.

is this the EDM h23 stock vtec motor or is it a frankenstein?

also, those numbers seem low. i made 180/156 with my stock h22 w/ i/h/e

yup...OEM h23a. numbers are a little low cuz i have a hacked ass intake and Rob forgot to bolt the tensioner to the alternator bracket so the voltage was all over the place. also has the smaller h22a TB on it cuz obd2 sucks and the car was already wired for obd1.

Im making that at 7000rpms max not 8200...good to hear your h22 made that tho

checked the datalogs and the voltage was stable throughout the final runs. the voltage issue coincidentally happened when it was done...good thing because the tune should be straight.

as for the poster that said it seems low...motors can be all over the place. i've seen h23vtec come in at 150 (ouch) all the way to 230ish.

Lol, Thanks. You should come out to the 4/6cyl Na Callout in the middle/end of June. You and I could get some runs in then if you want.

D3uc3s... I bought the same motor from Matt... Mine has tb, kidd racing header, 3" exhaust, balance shaft removal, etc etc. Pretty much oem with stock cams and all bolt ons... It'll be nice to see what i t makes over yours with the little nick nack stuff. Nice numbers!

iab open with p28. this is a freak motor. i was thinking one of the cams is off a little, but the timing and the power curve look fine otherwise. there may have been some head work done on this motor by the previous owner, maybe.
