it's not bad...not as awesome as it was a few years back but there's still a good # of cars out there around the metro atlanta area...
i guess i just expected some more i mean theres this parkng lot thing is out there but im not into the parking lot scene you know what happened to just running for fun and tuning for fun not dissin ATL just curious
there's alot of running for fun around here but most is at the track and what's not at the track it's more of a you gotta know who's who...it's hard just to show up somewhere and automatically know where the guys that like to run are going to be....
yeah i know that just thought the scene would be bigger here im from tampa florida and its big down there and orlando but i was just speaking on it
ha well no it's definately not as big as tampa...i have been to tampa and it's very nice there....orlando there's a few (they may not all just be out riding around) but yea i don't think atlanta is quite like tampa
well im hopin i meet some of you guys one day and see some cars pm me if anyone is getting up
atlanta is not big at all , up north i see more action than down here, not too many places to go

i think atlanta has all the stuff you could find in the other cities, but i also think its harder to find in atlanta...IMO "the scene" overall has kinda been getting diluted with 16 year olds with intakes who swear they can outrun an 800hp supra; kinda ruins it for everyone. but as far as just "running for fun" you can go out in a powerful and find people to run you all night long. its all out there, you might just have to weed through some shit before you find it...
the show scene on the other hand: i think atlanta and the south east has the show scene on lock minus the LA area on the other coast...but honestly that's just from what i see from coverage
but i do see a lot of potential for atlanta to have a "re-birth" into the scene as a whole...there's no doubt in my mind that its been back on the downhill for the past couple years or so
yeah cause its funny when i drive my civic i cant stop races from happening i mean by all kinds of cars you wouldnt believe and when im in teh supra no one nada i havent had a good run with my supra yet and no its not TT but that doesnt matter i still want to know the capabilities of my ride you know but ill be out tommorrow to this barrett spot i got staff duty tonight so im stuck at work
honestly i wouldn't waste your time a barrett if you are trying to get a good idea of the scene...you'd be better off putting 2 TV side by side and watch both F&F movies at the same time, getting your neighbor bounce his car off the redline 20 times in a row, then go run one of the stop light cameras so you can get your ticket...it'd at least save some gas and time

gwinnetts a good/bad place. Some nights its hopping and no harassment from the cops.. other nights they follow us around and some nights there isnt much out. Last night , for example, was great. There were a lot of people of at BP and we got run off and regrouped somewhere else and didnt get bothered the rest of the night (a good 3hrs in one spot)
I dont get too many races in the Miata :/
