A friend wants to sell me a car that he have at his shop, in which a customer left there not paying the bill. How do one going about getting a title for this type of situation?

I have no idea but... the shop legally owns the car now if they had a lien on it so it shouldn't be too difficult?
yeah the shop has to put a lien on it before they can sell it off. I believe they have to obtain the title for it first though.
