Another Z28
Ugh....choices
Ok I was looking for a new DD, one I could put car seats in and still have fun driving. I have found a 98 z28 LS1, 6speed, cammed, headers, NOS and tuned with race suspension.......I have a 07 civic 4 door, should I just drive the kids in it and get the z or keep looking at srt4s?

x3, Just get the z28 and keep the '07 Civic and when you and the kids wanna go somewhere, use the civic. When you wanna have fun, take the Z. Or just buy a SRT4 and be save in it while the kids are in it.

lol the one time I did drive the kids in my z there legs came to the front like arm rest. I didnt think that was very safe so..... But yeah thinking the Z and use the civic for family drives.

Can you not read where it says drive the civic on family drives? I have a z28 and dont drive the kids due to room, not because I feel like a nascar driver when I'm in it.

ive owned 3 japanesse cars and now i own a domestic,im not going back to that side.
but op,u already got a nice DD for the kids i say get the Z for a nice toy
I vote SRT-4 for many reasons. I WOULD have gotton one, but I needed something to tow the bike with.

as much as i hate srt 4's mine was fun and did good for what it was.I would say srt-4 because its good for riding the kids and its cheap to mod if you want to fu** some 1 up.and u can lay down 500whp on stock block and no that it is still intact

I drive a low is3 just so it gives me a reason to drive super slow on these rough ga roads.
Well they didnt do to great on the side impact safety test...... but I have been wanting something boosted for fun more than power. I have a friend with a big turbo SRT4 and it hauls ass though.

Avg. price I am finding these cars at.....
SRT4- around $11k, but a good bit around $8-9.5k
LS1 Camaro- around $10k, some as low as $5.7 and some as high as $24k (02 SS)
My only MUST are stick shift and fun....

i wouldnt pay more for a SS,just go with a Z28
what bout a LT1 C4?
I have really thought about getting a camaro like my dad had, but I think ill just stick with my plan of a S2K
My Z is a LT1 and its a pain, and doesnt make the power a ls1 will make. It does make awesome low end TQ.
