Im wanna boost my car and was wondering if a TD 05 would work good. I only wanna push about 8-10 lbs of boost. Will it work?

The amount of boost will depend on the turbo size. A bigger turbo will bring in more air at 8-10 lbs than a smaller turbo. What are you power goals and budget?
Also see the sticky at the top of the section, alot of good info to read on there.

If its a honda and stock I'd say a t28 would fit it nice.

td05 is just the name of the turbine side...
there are TONS of td05's....
TD05h-12a (stock starion)
td05 -14b (eclipse)
td05HR-16g (evo)
etc
Will it work for your setup? Probably, the td05 turbines are small... for super fast spool, etc... The only thing is we have no idea what compressor side is on there... a 12a will barely support 200hp, where a 18g will support 400+
so the turbos vary as well.. do you have pics of it? if the fins are double layered on the compressor side its a G-series.. like a 16G, 18G
I have an 18g on a honda and it pulls lkike a frieght train when it hits full boost
TOO BIG
what kind of car are we working with here? it all depends on the setup. i have an accord with a evo3 big 16g on it also a td05 and it is great on my car quick spool and makes the power. but it isnt as good as say a t3/t4 would be on my larger 2.2 litre. but some info on your setup would be nice to know
