if your only looking for a one inch drop, just get some springs. They ride a lot better then coilovers
they do suck - what you've "heard" is true
save your pennies

get tein or eibach springs for only an inch. I used to have Tein H-Tech and they ride just like or better than factory
dropzones suck.....

im running tokico blue's with skunk 2 coilovers on my 95 prelude....slammed 3 inches on 16's
it handles alot better than it did with just the tokico shocks and lowering springs

With any coilover you have to get a decent strut. Most of the time it's the springrate that most people say "suck" Coilovers usually have a higher springrate since they do have to go from 1" to 4" drop on occasion. If you are going to get the dropzones then either replace the spring with a softer or get some quality struts such as KYB, Tockico or some Koni's. But if you are only going 1 inch then just get some Eibach or Neuspeed Sports.
If you put any coil-over sleeve & spring on a stock shock it's going to ride like crap.
eBay coil-over sleeve + eibach spring = Ground Control
Don't do the Tein S-Techs, they are as soft as stock. They call them the "Dress-up Master" kit for a reason.
Fresh Koni Yellows with an eibach spring is one of the best budget kits you can get, far better than a comparable priced coil-over dampener.
