    So I bought this gt2056 vnt turbo off a 07 Mercedes. I plan on putting this on my 86 mr2. The turbo is in great condition, but the compressor blade has some knicks on it. They are not too bad, but i want to fix it. I can not find one place that sells a gt2056 compressor blade. I am look at upgrading the blade to something i can find. The compressor blade bore for the turbine shaft is 5mm. t3's will not work because the turbine shafts are about 6mm. I have found a source for a gt2560 blade, but im not so fond of the map. Im also thinking about replacing it with g2860rs blade but i dont know if the turbine shaft is 5mm or 6. I know that starting at the gt30's, the turbine shaft is enlarged to 6mm. Also, I have not found a source for it. One other possibility is a td04-15t. these were used on turbo volvos 850. The turbine shaft is 5mm also. I might be leaning towards this because i think ive seen one at the pull-a-part. The only problem is that the bottom of the compressor blade on Mitsubishi blades look to have some sort of tapered hump on them. i could probably have it milled down if its not ceramic.

    does anyone know where i can get some of these compressor blades? Also im a very cheap person, so the cheaper option is my favorite. This turbo is more of a fun project and to experiment with the new vnt turbos. i really dont care that much for power. If i cant find anything ill probably deburr the blades and just have it rebalanced.

    If you want to go the cheapest route, then get the compressor wheel from the pull-a-part and swap out compressor wheels, if it is a direct swap. Since it is a GT2056, that means it is a Garrett turbo and I would try calling ATP turbo and ask them your questions you have... they would be one of your best bets as far as help because they specialize it Garrett turbochargers.

    In the end, whatever you choose to do, I would NOT recommend shaving any material off any compressor wheel, just to get it to fit in a compressor cover. Unless you are an advanced machinist and have the special machines to do it, you will never shave the wheel correctly. Besides, the material on any compressor wheel is there for a reason and shaving material off will lessen the performance and efficiency of that compressor wheel.

    I contacted ATP and they said that the can only offer me a CHRA.
