Hey, I bet you that the process would've been a lot easier had the guy removed the wheel from the car.

The only way it would have been easier is if the tire was removed from the wheel. otherwise it doesn't really matter. It's not like you can paint something laying down with a rattle can so the wheel would have to be sitting upright just like it was still on the car anyways.
