    Default Porsche calipers finally!

    Been looking for a few months and just picked up a pair... $280 with pads!!! They are the rear brembos from a '99 Boxster...Friend has the conversion brackets cnc'd and now waiting on the aluminum hats to be machined...grrr, a couple more weeks! One step closer to having the teg done...

    Be sure to scrape the 'porsche' lettering of the caliper. You wouldn't want to be all mismatched and stuff.

    you're right, i wouldn't want anyone to get confused!

    i just spent two hours cleaning these little suckers. Aluminum monoblock, alot bigger and still lighter...some things you just have to leave to the Germans.

    oh, i got bored with photochop, I think it's tooo NASCARish but kinda JGTCish...

    and another pic, right now they are a really dark grey color (prolly originally black)...should i dip them black or red or just leave them as they are? The logo can easily be redone with paint and a vinyl stencil that's readily available...

    I like red calipers but not really trying to show them off that much, and it's not like the 13.5" rotor isn't gonna stand out enough...
