Dont do it lol, tractor trailers have huge torque and are made for pulling up to 70k + lbs. Why would you put that on a car?

Yes, for some setups work quite well, I know a few race cars using them with loads of success. Especially smaller ones.

    You'd be surprised.

We are talking TRACTORS right, not semi trucks.

LOL, don't do it. My F250 Superduty would be the vehicle to put that on.

you need to post up exactly what turbo it is before anyone could say if it is or os not good for any other application.

and to the person that said it was a t4 flange and it would never work please give me a break, even hondas can use a t4 flange and be dd's

    t4 is small for a semi-truck turbo

Most of them that i've seen are T6's.... fuckin retarded big

if you can find a way to get the VNT working that'd be even more badass... super quick spool

i imagined theyd be around the same size- obnoxiously big.

i also assumed the OP was referring to his d15 civic trying to use a tractor turbo.

Even if you get the VNT to work it wouldn't last long on a gas engine, the EGT's are too high.

Tractor turbos can also be about 4-6 inches in diameter, which is almost small enough to blow in one side and spool it... Just depends on the tractor and turbo...
Back to being stock and slow
