LOL at everyone for saying it's the injectors fault for being too big. The injectors just do what they are told to do and if the tune is off then it won't run right. Yes the injectors are overkill but that is not the problem. I ran 650cc on my D16 NA before I went boost and with a GOOD tune the car ran like stock and made 106whp (250k mile D16A6)
I would def check the cams and also check what Scotty said. Ignition timing, cam timing, check compression, valve adjustment, strong spark in higher rpms, etc. Good luck.
