    Default Civic coupes?

    Why is it that almost everyone on here has a civic hatch? The coupes look a lot better, and theres hardly anyone on here who has one...or atleast that i've seen...
    The EM1s and EM2s look awesome but i hardly ever...actually i cant think of any that ive ever seen on here...

    so what im gettin at is...why is there no love for the coupes?

    mine is my favorite civic..

    just small touches that people like more than others on the hatch and coupes.

    It truly varies. Most people want hatch's for how much they weight or lack of, others for personal preferences. I stay rep'n the coupes

    I like the 4door and hatch better then the coupe, i would own any with a smile
    i think the del sol is my last fav, ej1soslo has a Clean coupe alone with humphries

    what the ... never seen one in the forums!? I hardly doubt that lol. you even posted in my rebuild thread. i see the exaggeration though. you probably don't see many EM1's because annoying thieves keep pwning them!

    I dont know why nobody ever took on to EM2s. They have good body lines and are VERY good candidates for K swaps. Very rare to find a modded one that looks good though, usually riced out FTL.

    I only like RWD coupes, to me, hatchbacks (the boxy kind, not the FC Rx-7 or Supra or Porsche 944 etc. kind) seem more sports in FWD variants. think about it.

    The "hot hatches" have always been cool.
    Mazdaspeed 3, Volkswagen GTI, etc.

    The FDW sport coupes are nice, but all I can think about them is "shame they're FWD"

    3000GT, Celica, Scion tC, all cars that just needed RWD to succeed.

    Well yeah, I'm just saying my mentality has always been coupe = RWD, hatch = FWD, so maybe somehow, somewhere people feel the same way subconsciously and prefer for their little Honda to be a hatch. I don't know, I am a huge RWD fan and because of it I have a lacking of interest for Hondas so it's hard for me to voice my opinion on them either way. I prefer coupes over hatchbacks about 90% of the time in terms of what I'd want to drive, but if I ever bought a FWD car, it'd have to have that import hatchback "zippy" feel to it.

    Thats really my biggest problem with the mechanics of a honda to tell you the truth...id rock a prelude all day long if it were a RWD...actually...im gonna go out on a limb and say the prelude would be one of the best cars in its class ever made if it were RWD.

    The body of the last generation looks built for RWD too, but yeah, it would be alarge S2000 if it were RWD, completely different car and price class entirely. It might've made for a sexy grand tourer though.
