lol @ this thread - more or less a reminds me of a bunch of old dudes meeting to read the paper and talk about how "immoral the new generation of kids are."

old man #1: "yeah, popped hoods are gay"

old man #2 "yeah, tow hooks are gay too"

old man #3 "yeah, if its not a ballin part it's ugly"

old man #1 "race car guys don't do it, it must be stupid"

old man #3 "yeah! if it's not functional, it's POINTLESS"

...i remember when i was this way, let the kids do their own thing... what makes a trend anyways? you have to have followers for it to be a "trend", right?

no one said it has to be a balling part to stand out (in a good way) nor did anyone say it's pointless if not functional. Shit tons of mods that look good that are cheap and not so functional. All the above are simply eye sore.

Trends are good when they are seen not soo often and stay in a class of their own that sets them apart, even with followers. When something becomes very common it's not a trend anymore, simply a thing to follow.
