Default Cars you like that no one else does

pretty much a self explanatory thread. I've always like the 5th gen(02-05) Civic Si, but no one I knew agreed. I find the clownshoe/hatchback styling a classic. The simple interior is superb for a car of its price. The shifter is exactly where you want it to be. Sure, it has the wimpy k20, but it's awesome to drive.

I really don't know any. I mean, all my friends have different opinions on cars. Like, I have a friend that likes older stuff but another that hates that kinda of stuff. Its like, whatever I may come across I like, one will hate it but one will like it.

Example: I was so close to buying a Nissan S12 awhile back. My buddy, Joe (Who now owns the car) was all for it and thought it was nice a had potential. But, another friend of mine, ****, thought it was ugly and it had no potential.

Point: I have kick ass friends.

Volvos, Jaguars, Porsche 944s...damn nearly any old German car that isn't a BMW. I mean I like BMWs, but everyone else does too.

Wouldn't mind having a Sterling 827 SLi Hatch, but no one knows what those are and those that see them don't like them.

1984 Renault R5 Turbo 2 Street/Track. Beautifully restored and ready for tearing up the twisties. Originally imported and Federalized by Sun International and then further developed for SCCA competition.

VIN: VF1822000D0000456 For some reason Ebay would not accept VIN.

    Complete Restoration with minimal miles
Only SCCA legal R5 Turbo in U.S. (so I'm told)
260HP Rogers Racing TVTV Engine-Leakdown less than 5% on all cylinders 2/3/09
    Pierre Ferry large capacity intercooler
Water and oil cooled blueprinted turbo with separate oil cooling (Earl's radiator)
    4:11 LSD transaxle
    Renault Sport race clutch
    Group B Renault Sport suspension
Bilstein adjustable coilovers front & rear
    Polyurethane Suspension Bushings
    Earl's Oil Cooler
All Steel Braided Lines (oil, clutch, brake, fuel)
Group B frame braces and chassis modifications
    SCCA legal cage
    Safety Devices 15G fuel cell
    Autometer gauges
    Adjustable boost

    1900lbs.

Exceptional performance is generated by the light weight of the car, the modified engine, and the 4:11 LSD. The combination of a stiffened chassis and the Group B suspension make for flat cornering with controllable but large amounts of power on oversteer...an absolute riot to drive!

The Rogers Racing TVTV engine has been completely blueprinted, has steel cylinder liners, a specially modified high lift camshaft, heavy duty valve springs, head modifications, and a modified fuel and ignition system. Leakdown was just checked (2/3/09) and the leakage was less than 5% on all cylinders.

All parts for these cars are still readily available from several sources in France, England, and a few here in the U.S.

    Call 404-226-9766 to discuss.

One of the first production electric cars, built in the 70's. Range of about 40 miles and top speed of 40. The one in the first pic has extra batteries...as bumpers...safe?

Expect a hot model shoot with this ride lol!!

Lol, well some of you are playing the game right. Others are just naming old, less widespread cars that most people wouldn't think of. Are we talking about cars that the general population doesn't like, or IA?

My cut and paste action isn't working, so I'll list.
1)Civic Si '02 - '05 (EP3), 2)Volvo C30 (even though they tried to ruin it for any guy in Twilight), 3)Honda Insight (I'm going to get one, even though it has no room, you can get over 100mpg if you try, on a trip), 4)Miata and Boxster (I'm listing these because most people make fun of me for wanting a "girl" car, I've always wanted a Monser Miata though, 5.0 in a Miata would just be fun), & 5)lately I've been really thinking about building a 20's - 30's European style sports car from the ground up (whenever I get a garage I'll look into what it takes to fabricate up the panels, I'll just find a donor frame and engine, it would be fun to escape everything creating something).
Some say that his politics are terrifying, and that he once punched a horse to the ground...

Lots of people love these fast wagons, but not a lot of people would pick them over their sedan versions like I would. They are some of my favorite cars. The only one I wouldn't buy with my own money would be the M5 estate because I just think it's even uglier then the sedan, despite it being a V10 7 speed shagan wagon.
