a comment like that just serves to add to my assumptions that you're just adding a turbo so other ricers will look under your hood or hear your mighty loud blowoff valve and swoon you as their leader.

This is some funny shit. All of my friends who drive fast turbo cars don't really care about the BOV sound. Hell, one of them doesn't want anyone to hear his go off. I mean what do you have to prove other than making people wonder wtf was that sound. Its funny to see people who don't know shit about cars to drive by and hear the pshhhh sound. The BOV sound might sound cool, but its getting pretty damn old. The other day i saw a 240 pass by and i heard his BOV. It was damn loud but it sounded more like a squeak more than the pshhh sound. I would suggest the greddy type S bov though. After people catch on, they are going to be like this: "oh, hear comes that idiot showing off by making his BOV go off constantly. Just do what the fuck you want. There are some reviews of BOV's in the magazines. I think Super street had one or SCC. I don't remember. Is it just me or do i think that turbo Honda's that have Bov's sound quiet as hell. The loudest ones i hear was on Dsm's and 240's.

having a loud bov doesnt make you a ricer, if having parts that is not necessarily for the impact of improving the performance of a car makes you a ricer, than all yall who have a cd player, subs, aftermarket shiftnob, jdm conversions, aftermarket tint-windows, or any stickers on your car is a ricer!!! im pretty sure that includes a majority of people in this site as well as all professional racers who have a custom paint job on their car

i dont need a disclaimer for one cause i know the guy. two the tape there is where the intake was hitting the fuel line and denting the pipe. we put that there so it would cushion it. whats wrong with that??? oh maybe its not something fancey that some shopped fabbed up. when you work on your own car you find easier/cheaper ways to fix things. its no show car so what does it matter. it serves its purpose thats what its there for. oh the "fire hazard wires" ummm sorry buddy you lost me there. you can tell what kind of asshole you are by your comments. not everyone knows everything. people have to start somewhere. weather it be asking dumb questions or not. maybe some people want a louder BOV then others. whats wrong with that?? ill even say he asks dumb questions but you have to learn some how. i guess though you were born with the knowleadge of cars and have never asked a single stupid question in your life. oh and the ricer remark i guess you can call it rice i mean if its rice then yours is to.

You are completely lost. No, that is not my car, there is NOTHING rice about that DC2, and for you to say ANYTHING bad about that car shows how retarded you are. I would bet any amount of money that your pile can't even measure up to that car's wheels.

And as far as the "mommy and daddy" shit, THE PERSON WHO OWNS THAT DC2 SPENT 15 MONTHS IN IRAQ GETTING SHOT AT AND AMBUSHED AND THAT IS HOW HE GOT THE MONEY TO DO THAT, so before you keep RUNNING YOUR DICKSUCKER KNOW WTF YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT, SHITHEAD.

lol best bet is to spend a pile of money on a good system then buy a BOV cd and then you can ride around and have whatever sounding bov you want....much cheaper than a full turbo kit anyways

I have put countless intakes on civic and have never had a problem with a fuel line hitting the intake. And do you really think electrical tape is going to really do anything.

now tell me where in there it said that that integra was a mommy and daddy built car?? im not mad or wanting to start anything. i just stepped in to take up for a friends car. by no means is that car rice. he'll find out that a loud BOV will get very annoying at time and may opt for a quieter one later down the line.

yes accutally theres still no hole in the intake so it is helping. i dont know why it hits the fuel line. it has a skunk2 intake manifold on it but i figure that the design from the EX engine bay and DX cant be much if any different.

please note nothing in this post is ment to be sarcastic or in a smart ass way

I would have to say to the guys that are flamming this guy out about wanting a loud bov, You are gay............... It seems that you are the people with a "ricer complex". I will say before you try and flame me for taking up for a guy I don't even know. I have been a member of the 500 whp club "original 500 whp log manifold, stock stroke b-16" in the Atlanta/GA area for 5 years. I HAVE BUILT AND BLOWN UP MORE ENGINES THEN MOST OF YOU THAT ARE TALKING TRASH HAVE EVER SEEN. I refrained from this website for a long time because of the crap. There is a reason he wanted a loud bov, even more you should respect the fact that he looked to you guys, his peers and valued your opinion to help him make a good choice. You instead flame him, well the guys that did and make yourselves look like complete jerks. Just remember way back when, may be last week for some of you? when you needed help with a part or a build. Even if you did get drilled on H-T for asking a question doesn't make it cool to repeat it. To each his own........Robi p.s. and if you wish to go head to head on tech/spec. you can find me on importlounge, or ask Vteckidd/Rutledge of my skill/builds and whp #'s. Sorry to go off like that, it is just a waste of time to not help a person, who has done nothing wrong to you when you know you can..............

Oh yeah and 4, yes 4 200 plus whp n/a Hondas. More then a couple 500 whp b&h series builds 5 years ago, without the help of a Full-Race/Neukin manifold. Running out of date Honeywell compessors. Been through the traps @over 120 mph, with a smoked clutch by the 8th mark, in a full interior EM1 on street tires,17 inch te37's. Just for a follow up quote. To answer the question in the post, the loudest bov ever tested was one called "Mach 1" from Go Fast Bits an aussie co. Guys that run a very high whp setup, with open down pipe, like to hear the bov dump, kinda like watching boost/egt/oil psi. gauges and fail safes, IF YOU CAN HEAR IT, IT IS DUMPING and not throwing a negative charge back @ a $1500-$3500 compressor.

Oh it's cool....it's hard to tell people's attitudes from behind a keyboard LOL

Yeah I am pretty knowledgable, and I am sure you are too. Ask VtecKidd about me.....he knows.

I still think a BOV should be for function over form, though.

I've heard that the HKS "racing bypass valve" is the same way, but I have never used it. I had an HKS Super Sequential and it was a piece of shit, so now I use the Greddy Type S. I don't run enough boost for the Type R lol

I still remember that dumb ass in Forest Park that sold a Type R to a kid with an GS-R running 6lbs of boost. Kid stopped by to talk to us and he told me that it didn't work so I asked him what he was running and how many lbs I just shook my head in amazement at how dumb the asshole in FP was. Returned the Type R and sold him a Type S and he was happy. Of course the conversation that followed when he called bitching about why we returned it was even better.
