Not many people are mentioning your choice of truck, the SUV and car areas are covered. The Toyota truck is a great idea, they run for a long time and are extremely useful, just don't tell your friends or you'll have a friend moving every weekend. I don't know why my dad ever sold his '94, that thing was a champ. If you have any question whether they are amazing, just look up Killing a Toyota on Top Gear on YouTube, they are the best.
I personally would love to have an Element, they are useful as long as you don't mind driving a box. An Element would make as much sense as a CR-V, with easier access and a little more room. 4Runners are good though, I think they are a little expensive though.
