Best wideband for a Honda?

Hey im in the looking/buying, for a Wideband A/F system, what is the best system for the money.. please let me know thanks.

All help would be appreciated.

Found some AEMs, Innovates, and AUTOmeter...

Please let me know if you had any experience with anyone of those, or what else is out there, Im kinda a newb to this wideband stuff. thanks

I use an NGK AFX. None of the blinking lights. Its just a rectangle box with a digital read out.

It works VERY well. Comes with plenty of wire with only 4 wire connections. One plug into the o2, one into the box, a positive, and a ground. I found mine on ebay for 190 bucks. There's still a few on there.

I'm very happy with it, and going by what its reading in my car, and reading the plugs, its very accurate.

ive been doing a lil research on it and so far ive found that people agree that the AEM and LC1 Innovates are the best ones, and AEM is the best bang for the buck i was told.

i too was looking at the autometer one but id rather have function more than looks.

funny, AEM is one of the most low rated widebands in terms of accuracy across a lot of different discussion types.

The best ones are Innovate, zeitronix, plx, ngk

i love my techedge, but it probably has more features than you'll need.
1. ability to use a palm as a display and/or datalog (afr, rpm, and 2 other inputs-i use map and tps).
2. thermocouple input if you want to log egt.
3. narrowband and wideband outputs.
4. on-board datalogging.
5. ability to use a laptop to datalog as well.
6. depending on how the $ is doing against the au$ it's a great value (at least when i got it 5+ years ago.
7. just as accurate as the wideband on our dyno.

I have had the same PLX setup for many years and love it. The sensors are under 50 bucks to replace and the display is easy to integrate into the dash.

I have the AEM wideband and its dead on. Works great and is fast, Plus its a great price. I like there wideband so much I'm replacing all my aftermarket gauges with the AEM ones.

Ive used AEM, innovate and zeitronix on my vehicles.. that being said

the Zeitronix is by far the best. Its cost, sensor inputs and datalogging as well as an analog output make it IMO one of the best for the money.

Ive got a AEM Uego in my EF right now and its okay. Seems to be reasonable accurate, uses proprietary sensors (gay) and has no outputs. Decent if you just want a display and nothing else.

The innovate LM-1 ive used is absolute junk and a nightmare to keep operational. Youve gotta wire switches, recalibrate frequently and purchase addons to get the same funcionality of a zeitronix.. i will not own another innovate product.

I think mine is givving up, been in there for like 60k miles .. 4 years .. I think I may need a new one due to the misreadings lately. But that may be from my oil leak, dont know.

it's the bosh sensor. Some have said one can be found at VW dealership for like 60 bux or something .. any thoughts on the subject ?

stock k series are only 4 wire and are fake widebands. they are not nearly as accurate. i've verified this on dynos with lab/professional grade widebands.

i've found they read richer under load on turbo cars especially.

most of the wideband companies use the bosch/vw variant found on r32. if it's a 5 wire 6 pin in a 2 row configuration that's what it is. if it's a 5 wire 6 pin flat configuration then it's a gm/caddy part.

I'm a personal fan of the AEM Uego.

I've also used the PLX250, both are fine choices for the average tuner.

The guys on here are rapping AEM on it's accuracy, and that, to me, defeats the purpose of the mechanism, itself.

...BUT... I know you, and there's a method to your madness. I researched the product, and it seems to be just what I want, but will it be what I NEED. (boost)

I want to here some more opinions, and hopefully some AEM UEGO reviews!

I have an AEM UEGO in my Supra. Go it because all the guys on the Supra forums were
trashing the INNOVATE ones. I have not had my Supra tuned yet, so I can't say about
it's accuracy...yet. Was hoping to do that yesterday at the meet, but the dyno was broken.

I've installed the Innovate, PLX and AEM W/B's. The Innovate was the worse
to install/setup/maintain by far !!!
