    GSR or k20???

Which engine would give me the more HP, all motor?
How can i get the most HP out of either engine?
My hope is of building a motor and reaching 300 whp.

There is also a video on here where they had a dyno day of k20 swaped cars. And all of them were pushing 280+ N/A.

Do some re-search about other people k20 swaped cars. Look at their write ups, and follow up.

Lol this thread fails. But K > B... funny how you said GSR and not type R but anyways... Judging by the lack of information you reveal in your posts. You probably don't have near enough money to even get yourself into the K scene... Sorry but it's the truth.

You do know that 300whp from a NA 4 cylinder is hard to get, right?

Also, 300whp is a LOT for short gears and a light car. My car probably puts out about 150whp and runs 13.5 in the 1/4 mile.

150 whp and a 13.5?!? I'd have to see that... unless your car literally weighs like 1600 pounds.

I highly doubt it's over 160whp, highly doubt it. It's just a JDM GSR with big tube tri-y, sk2 pro intake mani, and a 68mm TB... untuned.

hmmmm if you are running 13.5 with 150-160ish hp... and 130ish torque in a car that weighs 2200ish... I wonder what my car weighing 2500 with 210 whp and 154wtrq is going to run with slicks this weekend... should be good... I hope to cut 1.9 60's too.

Well 2200 is with me in it, so you should DEFINITELY be mid-high 12s with some fancy driving

well that Would be amazing... Good thing my first time out I am only shooting for 13.5's with slicks being as it will only be the second time I have tracked the car in its current setup, since I didn't want to go back out till I had traction haha! Shit if I break 12's tomorrow I might piss myself... but no getting ahead of myself.... 13.5's And I will be happy...

people have broken 12's with close to my power and my weight with close to same setup... but being that good takes practice and seat time... Maybe by the middle of the season and a couple of track days under my belt I could do it...

well after running slicks and having a passenger in what ending up being my best run lol I ran a 12.5 at 101.5 with a 1.99 60' while weighing in at 2700 pounds... That's full weight with 2 people... haha my other run cut a 1.90 60' but I couldn't get second to save my life and so that mis shift caused me to get a 13.8 at 102.3.... Man Had I not misshifted second I would have been 13.2-13.3 bound... on that run...

gonna take a lot of seat time and some good 60' times with some count traction. All 3 are very important to taking off a tenth here and there. My problem is traction, therefore a bad 60' time because of compensating for it to not roast the tires and run a decent time on street tires. It's a delicate dance.
