    Default I think its time for a "I hate Scion tCs" thread...

    First off, I don't normally come on here making threads like this but I have to say it...
    I hate the way most scion tCs look... actually you know what... I take that back, I dislike the way most owners Modify their Scion tCs. Most every single one I see on the internet should be sprayed with roach killer then set on fire...

    Three things that characterize Scion owners.
    1) They are relatively new to "modifying" vehicles
    2) They are of the mindset that Scion their car is inherently faster than everything else on the road.-
    3) They are CHEAP!... they want to have their cake and eat it too... never wanting to pay for S IT

    Now with that said, I do want to point out there are always exceptions to the rule. I do know quite a few scion owners that are "tasteful" in their modifications and even behave well with others on the road. But this is not the case with 80% of the owners I come across online.

    /rant, I will now go back to working on my scion...

    we will save the thread for the "scion" drift scene for a later thread...

    Wrong section. Although I agree on a lot of tC owners thinking that their car is fast as shit when the don't realize it's a Corolla with a different body. The rest of the stuff you might get a lil' controversy for (esp the wrong section part) .

    Edit: youadded a picturew, so I guess it sorta works here, but I'd still call it a Car Talk topic.

    You know what, as a former owner I will agree. I go to the V and see a lot of the guys that I hang used to hang out with and other scion owners and while generally the guys that I used to hang out with have good taste, the vast majority of scion owners don't have the slightest clue what it means to correctly modify a car CLEANLY. Lambo doors, and gaudy side graphics are things of the past. That being said I loved my old car. Great DD very comfortable and would buy another one again as a DD but not as my project car and to save this thread

    TC is and was a success.. it did what it was supposed to do. A car for the younger crowd. And has a huge aftermarket. And hasnt even changed its looks as of yet, and is still very popular.

    yep. don't get me wrong, Scion as a whole produce pretty reliable and well built cars. I think very highly of the quality of the brand. It's the owners and subsequent condition of the car that bothers me so much.

    Toyota/Scion FTW... Scion Owners/their lame cars...

    I would be more than happy to have a TC, I think they are pretty nice cars. It has a torquey engine (when compared to most any Civic), it is decent looking, no matter how crappy some other person makes their own car look. Also, you can buy a supercharger from Scion/Toyota to bump it up to 200hp, then it should be comparable to a Prelude, there is nothing wrong with that.
    With the direction people are going with body aesthetics, hopefully most people will be going back to stock and staying clear of Lambo doors and awful body kits.
    I just wish the thing only had worse resale value, then I could have one.

    Hey, the tC ain't for everyone. Some people are gonna like it, some people are gonna hate it.

    Ain't much you can do after that.

    I like mine...I plan on keeping it clean and hopefully pretty soon, she'll be boosted just like everyone else.
