    Default crower cams what to degree them too??

    I have a set of stage 2 n/a cams they are part number 63402a-2 i am trying to figure out what to degree them to i have aem cam gears so does anyone have a way to point me to find the specs so i can just turn the cams and set them retarded or advanced??

    like i said before on the phone...the only real way to do it is w/ a degree wheel and the specs of the cam. if crower will give you the settings (they usually won't) that can be a place to start. the only cams i know of that give good starting settings are skunk2 and they are pretty close. they only problem is when there has been some shaving/milling of head/block and/or major variations in the setup from the original tested engine.

    the only people i would trust on this would be crower...2nd would be someone physically degreeing them in with specs in hand.

    yeah every other forum ive been on the general consensus on this is with the degree wheel.

    O i believe you sctty i tried crower they said i have to use a degree wheel the only thing is i have no way to get that dont by saturday?? i aint ever messed with that kinda stuff so i dont want to bother with it untill i learn so ???

    Blox cams come w/ that info on the cam card as well. Are you SURE there is no documentation in the box? I'm pretty sure there should be unless u bought then used.

    no they come with info for a degree card but it doesnt tell you the exact degree just to turn the cam gears too soo i am prolly gonna pay mainstream to do it!!

    i've had these before, pretty aggressive i'd say but i 4got what degree mines was in but i just didn't care bout the degress i just slipped them on ! and bam bamm bamm Boomm i was on the road under 2years and sold them.. never had a chance to tune them..! biGG difference i tell ya .. but ion if it's the same as mines my was the 402a the N/A application

    yeah same ones but i am in a slight built GSR bottom and up so i am getting it tuned i am already tuned on some shitty cams but i am upgrading all the way around!!

    OK everything is together and we got something going now!! I have
    GSR bored to 82mm with PR30 pistons
    stock rods and crank
    ACL race bearings
    Stock GSR head after the ported one cracked
    i have dual springs unknown name
    titanium retainers
    crower cams stage 2 N/A
    AEM CAM GEARS for a tru time
    ctr header
    cold air
    260cc venom injectors might switch to 440's
    Holley 255 lph fuel pump

    So you went w/ RACE bearings? Is this going to be a DD? If so I'd save those and just get the ACL non-race bearings. Also --- why not hold off for some different rods? And are the PR30 pistons 82mm??

    stock can hold 185 i have 260cc in there a set of stock at the house and a set of 440cc in my back seat i think i am good got it tuned something aint right only 163whp 124wtq

    Answer my questions please. This block is overbored to 82mm right? What bore are your PR30 pistons??

    Well he'll see more peak w/ the short ram and less TQ (vs a longtube) - but there are so many holes in this thread that I am getting tired of trying to help him.

    i think i have these cams in my itr...NA stage 2 stock idle lobe?
    It hits vtec hard and idles like a stock car

    on the dyno, yes. close the hood on the road and iat go up killing power.
