Default Ford attacks Ford fan websites

I didnt know where to put this so I took the advice of the discription of this section.

Ford decided to attack alot of ford fan sites asking for the domain name to be given up ... banners, tshirts, stickers, and other uses of the old website name to be 'destroyed', and $5000 be paid to Ford.

Many Import Atlanta members have Fords. Maybe not as their performance vehicle but certainly like I do... I have a Ford for towing my RX7.

    Here is an example

I have heard about this earlier. I guess Ford is trying to scrape together as much free money as they can since they are in the shitter.

LOL. So what about The Texas Rangers....and Walker, Texas Ranger.

They should just sue Chuck Norris right now, that could save the company...or wait...Chuck Norris can eat handfulls of Exploreres at one sitting so that might not be a good idea.

What a way to save your company, piss off your most hardcore enthusiasts..

LOL great business management right there... i have a feeling the people responsible for this are at least partially responsible for fords current condition.

I find it funny how everyone is quick to bash just Ford on this. Similar companies have done the same thing. Go to www.nissan.com and see what you get. When I had my Mazdaspeed, Mazda started attacking our forums because we infringed upon their copyrighted name. This isn't an incident isolated to domestic companies.

I know it's been done before, but it's a horrible business move for any company to attack their largest supporters.

Nothing new. Toyota/Lexus contacted SELOC and Clublexus years ago. We had to make some changes so we didn't use copyrighted items. THey were/are supportive of the sites.
