Hey Im new and working on a rear engine crx

Why is it a waste?

The people competing in the SCCA GT4 class have been doing it for over a decade.

Are these cars a waste? The can lap a race track faster than a 911 so i feel that it is a pretty big achievement.

Are you going for a race setup or a street setup?

Yep, they are still a waste in my opinion! I love CRXs and I'm a purest. So when you chop one up to make it something that it's not suppose to be, I view it as destroying it. Mint CRXs are becoming harder and harder to find (with 88's becoming even more difficult to find) because ricers, wreaks, and rust. His year was the best out of all of the 2nd generation, and now there's one less decent one left. Plus, CRXs do not need to be rear wheel drive to perform. Cool it lap a track faster than a 911, I'm pretty sure Hasports one can too. Anyways, I doubt we'll see eye to eye on this topic since I'm a CRX enthusiast.

I can respect that. Maybe 4 years ago i'd have seen eye2eye with you since i did understand the JDM thing before it got...old. Anyways, i guess as you are a CRX purest, i am a motorsport purest which is why i remember looking at these crx creations with an odd look until i saw them go around a race track. To be honest, most of these have turned into almost Nascar like creations so calling them crxs is a stretch but the good news for you is that most of these are built out of AT generation CRXs.
