Well I know I've seen a chart before comparing wheel widths to tire widths, but I can't seem to find it right now.

Realistically, I think you should be fine with anything from 225-255. I run 225s on my 8" wheels, but I know people that run 245s no problem (if their fenders don't get in the way).
