dont know if this is a repost, i tried searching.
i think its a step back. the 350z looked very proportional and had a clean look to it. this think for some reason looks pieced together it has stray lines, straight lines that dont compliment the curves and the the new shape of the headlights looks dumb to me. who knows tho maybe it looks good in person, heres where i read up on it.

I agree with the comment on the stupid headlights, though I do like the new side profile and hatch. Looks more like the classic 70's Z-cars.

Guys, they're just doing what everyone else is doing. They're trying to draw design cues from the "classic" Z cars and update them. Think about it. The majority of the people who are buying the resergent cars are Baby Boomers and the Yuppies of the 80s, so those are the people that Ford is targeting with the 07+ Stangs, Chevy is targetting with the whenever it's gonna come out Camaros, and who Dodge is targeting with the Challenger. They bring remeniscent design cues from their older cars.
Go back and look at a Z from the late 70s early 80s...shitt looks just like it!

I don't think it'll make it into production, seems like alot of nissans higher end cars ie: maxima, z, altima are leaning towards that GT-R front end imo. I think it'll end up something along the lines of the 08' Z/ 09' Maxima front end. Are these official pics?

I like it. I think it does sort of look goofy, but as soon as we see black one's with Volks, and HRE's and the sort we are all going to regret saying we don't like it
