ok here is the deal i am trying to save money what do you think about a gsr block with stock bottom end except for pr3 pistons head port polish angle valve job dual springs titanium retainers and type r cams

would stock valves be alright for my stock ecu or do i still need to upgrade to something better because the compressions up i am running low on money is the problem!!

I would get a tunable ECU. Stock valves should hold up just fine.

The valves will be fine gsr valves are second best next to type-r.Dont waste money or just get the head rebuilt and let them replace them.
