Ferrari California..URGGG. VENT

Ferrari is just using the name for marketing.....It dosn't live up to the old California. The old one was so rare, so beautiful. This thing is a down tuned F430 or an expensive Maserati. It would never sell for over several million in 50 years...They should've stuck to the "GTS" name like the 275 GTS's or 365 GTS and saved the California for something more exclusive. Way to go Ferrari. I'll still take two.

they are both beautiful car and I like the old but the new modern design is more to my liking. plus i would never pay what it costs to have an old one, even if I had the money to piss away

The design is great but like I said...they are taking a legendary name and putting it on the cheapest Ferrari they will sell

Also, you can't call a cars classic status before it even comes out. The orig California wasn't ground breaking (nor ridiculously high priced) either, for a Ferrari...

Meh. I personally think Ferrari has lost its touch on their cars and styling. A lot of them look the same.

The front end I like but I could do without the side vents and weird rear exhaust. The single taillight is growing on me too.

I don't know, trying to force a new "legend" on consumers seems kinda like selling out to me. They're doing what they've always done, making great cars. If the consumers decide it's good enough to be a legend then it'll happen.

Also a good point. Like Ford who repeatedly tries to bring back legends (GT500, Mach 1, Bullett etc.) when they arn't as good as their originals. In Ferrari's case, they are naming it after a car that was legendary in terms of a collector and putting it on their cheapest car. I just don't like that
