    Default Tinting Taillights

    What's the best way? I now VHT has some stuff. Do you clear afterwards? Someone help me out with some pointers.......if you don't mind.

    ebay: VHT Nightshade or niteshades. one can should be enough.. you should also get some fine grit sandpaper - 1000 or 1500 grit. i would also recommend a good clear coat from a automotive body supply store.

    yeah, my biggest question was about the clearing. I seen the vht on ebay but was wondering how it was so shiny. thanx guys

    VHT wont be shiny even if you put on a clear

    Are you planning on painting or actually tinting them?.I have tried using spray but it eventually fades out,specially if you use hobby paint.And that is with using clear and from now own I will only have them tinted properly by my local tint shop.
    Could have just been the actual product I chose but I did it correctly but they tend to just fade.

    My tails were sprayed with a clear/black mix by a pro.

    just pay someone at a shop to tint them, I don't see why it would be more than $50....?

    yeah this is what my friend did, he has a painting shop and he mixed black and clear and sprayed it on and it was shinny and didnt really effect the lighting

    now i'm confused. vht isn't shiny? black/clear.....isnt too dark? tint at a tint shop? tint goes on the inside of the window. it works both ways?

    i tint the outside with paint as light or as dark as you want. it lasts an its shiny as possible. VHT will not be shiny no matter what youdo

    VHT SUCKS BALLS ANJD DOESNT SHINE. I used it and regret it. Dont eve buy it,
