GSR cams vs. B16 cams???

Would GSR cams help at all vs. stock b16 cams on a boosted B16??? friend has some for sale that he says are better for turbo than the B16 cams... debating on purchasing!

yes, you could gain about 20hp. Dont pay too much for them though, they are a dime a dozen. You dont need to be pushing too much power on the pistons if they are stock though.

I would reccomend that you get those from your friend. GSR are a good cheap alternative to Type-R cams for boosted motors. I wouldn't pay over $50 for them though. You would defently see some gains over B16 cams.

I cant remember which one is better for boost but I think b16 have more top end.And gsr have more midrange the lobes are a lil bit bigger.But they suck in allmotor b16s but in boosted ones they should help dont quote me on this tho.Dont know about the 20hp gain though G/L tell him give them to you for free if hes your friend what he need them for!
