Default car suggestions- what to rebuild?

I'm currently looking for another project after sellling my prelude.I want to go domestic this time but not sure what to go with. Looking to build a fast street car. Was thinking of 82-92 camaro or 87-93 mustang. also thinking about 95-99 maxima. So any suggestion will be helpful. Thanks ppl.

The Maxima isn't a domestic. lol

With your guidelines, I'd buy a fox body Mustang.

I had a 97 (look in my AV, that's actually it lol) Mustang and I loved it... my favorite bodystyle. If you go 94-95 you still got the 5.0 motor the fox bodies had, after that they switched to 4.6.

yea if you get a mustang make sure you get one with the 5.0L. It is a lot easier to get more power out of the old pushrod engines than the newer sohc 4.6L engines.

id say camaro, but they are both stupid.

id say S2K. 2JZTT (Supra) engine swap.
then carbon fiber hood, fenders, roof, trunk, doors.

Then build the **** out of the engine
