What trans for my turbo ef?
I have an EF with a boosted d16 and am in need of a new trans.It has a crx si trans now.But would like to change it up a little.How well will a 92-95 cx trans work out?I have one lieing around.I know i will need a conversion kit for it.I do more highway driving than street.Wont the cx trans be better for highway runs?More top end right?Thanks in advance.

I cant remember but its either vx or cx that is the longest dseries tranny.I dont know for sure I really dont mess with dseries like that.

I'm running a 90 4 door civic trans on my boosted d16z6 and I like it much more that the si crx one I had.
what kind of differcence have you noticed?I thought the stock non si trans was a 4 spd.

No there is a DX 5spd which is probably the same as the sedan. Its a very minimal difference (gears are the same, FD on Si is slightly shorter). I personally run a Si cable trans and love it.
I like the si trans also but want a little more top end.Is there a different 5th gear I could swap in?And is there a good lsd for this trans.

a good lsd is made by quafe but you have to upgrade your axels bc it will snap them like nothing
