    Default Cryo questions

Should your internals and block be cryo-d before taking it to the machine shop? Maybe a stupid question, but I have no earthly idea

it's overkill in most cases on mild builds and the cost of the cryo makes the stock parts end up in the price range of aftermarket parts that are stronger.

but if you insist the machine shop needs to check them out before hand and if no owrk needs to be done i.e. balancing etc you can have the cryoed

You're better off buying something stronger than cryo treating to strengthen.

Cryo treating is a high cost procedure to "go the extra mile".

    IMO...

if thats all you want upgrade the rod bolts on the stock rods they are usually what fails 99 percent on the time, not the rod itself
