Default Need some help with tires

My Dad's business partner has a 07 or 08 S80 with Pirelli P-Zero tires sized 245/40/18 all the way around. I priced them out somewhere between $250-$300 a piece. Now he's not looking to spend $1200 on a set of tires so I was wondering what would be a good alternative?

Easy solution, don't pay out the ass for pirellis. Another solution, go to tirerack.com and buy some tires. All the facts are there, its common sense, it's not like you're trying to find the best performance tire or tire to stretch.

Falken makes some amazing tires. I had some FK-425s that stuck really well. They drove in rain pretty wlel to, and weren't too stiff side walled that it was uncomfortable. W rated. Nice tires really. They've been my favorite out of

    225/50R/16 Toyo Proxes 4
    225/50ZR/16 Falken FK-425 <--this is the tire I loved

    185/70/13 Khumos
    205/60R/13 Sumitomo HTR 200

The Toyos we pretty nice too but I thnk my sumitomos are better, they wouldnt be made in the size you need. So go for the Falkens as far as my opinion goes.

^^ Yeah, I drew a frame of a man running on each fan blade. That is him running at idle
