youre actually supposed to replace them with new ones when you take a head off so if youre going to buy brand new ones get arp or aebs
y build a motor and take short cuts?
theyre only $80-$100
and if you do nitrous or boost they are strongly advised anyway.

...not if they're installed incorrectly, headstuds are a little trickier to install the correct way than headbolts.

they're easier to get the torque specs wrong on, which will result in bad things. (obviously)
