    Default painting a bumper.

    Im trying to find out what I would need to paint my friends ef9 bumper, (the plastic looking bumper.) My question is, what paint do i need to use.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Use automotive paint like Dupont or PPG. Use your factory paint code to get the right color.

    I am not sure about there but up here you can walk into any paint shop explain what you are trying to do and they usually they point you in the right direction. its different than regular automotive paint it has an additive that will make it stick to the bumper better and you have to sand it rougher than you would metal just because it is the bumper. depends what it is made out of though. hope that helps.

    you need adhesion promoter the bully dog kind works best it helps the paint flex also any automotive paint supply store should have just ask them for adhesion promoter

    oh yea it acts like a clear primer you would just spray the bumper with the adhesion promoter then any kind of paint would work and prepping the bumper is key the better you prep the better it will look
