If you bought a tow hook and you don't track your car you fail. My Jeep has tow hooks which have been put to good use many a time. I put yes for me even though I have a different application.

How do you propose getting to [most] stock tow hooks if your car is alternator deep in kitty litter? What if you have a lip, spoiler, and/or splitter?

i got 2 that come factory on my core support and one in the center under my cargo area (civic hatch) i use those on the dyno and for getting loaded on a tow truck. the benen industy hooks are aluminum so unless i need to get pulled straight like if i break on the track, keep ur meat hooks off my tow hooks bc they will break.

mostly for style but i will use them as long as i know they wont get effed up.

Ive been in situations where it would have been nice if i had one. i dont think i would go out and buy one tho unless it was infact a track car. if it was given, maybe id rock it.

well my FC has Four stock lol

but every time i get towed (an i tow it alot goin on 6 times in the past year) the tow guy can never find the damn hook

. so i think the stickers that point to the tow hooks are cool but most would say its rice huh

WHY! its a waste.I'd rather use oem hooks instead of some piece of metal bolted on to the oem ones with two 12mm bolts.And see if it holds up while I tow my 2100lbs car.Thats just my

i have had a pair and it helps when your car dose have to be towed. triple a give me hell when they had to tow my car when it was doped 2.25in. but they are useful and a ***** at times

Dont triple A use flat beds and if you car is dropped then I doubt a tow hook will help.Only thing that will help being towed by a flat bed is to Remove your bumper or try in reverse.

tow hooks are one of those things you hope you dont ever have to use, but damnit they would come in handy when you need a tow so they dont fuk up your bumper

quick question though, now i can make a serious tow hook from materials i have laying around, the lightest materials are not the cheapest and usually not the strongest, has anyone actually used one of these "billet" tow hooks. a friends car is in my driveway right now and has one on the rear...i got to looking at it and it looks like every other one i have seen around town...but i do not think it would hold up if it had to be used. ESPECIALLY if the tow vehicle could not get a straight line pull and had to be pulled slightly from the side. am i wrong?
