    B13 sentra.....SR20DE swaps

this is a 92 sentra 2dr. XE 5spd with the 1.6L in it right now, my friend wants to know what is all required to make this happen

*are the SE-R models compared to the same year G20's any different
    can the parts be interchanged

*big question is what mounts to use, what parts from the 1.6L can be used

*what kind of engine harness, and other harnesses are required to make this run perfect

    thanx

There isn't many parts you can use from the 1.6 motor. You need to get the Engine harness, ECU, Motor, transmission, motor mounts, crossmember, axles and if you are real serious about making it perform like an se-r you need to get rid of the rear drum brakes and se-r sway bars. This is a short list of the main items that you need to make this happen.

    Default hmm

I used to be a b13 sr20de owner myself. Props for having one as well! There are alot of swaps available for the b13,p11 & b14 models. I believe all the Infiniti G20(t) models have the sr20de motor if i'm not mistaken.

Motors you can swap into a b13/b14 & infiniti g20 chassis are..
sr20de 2.0 (they have euro motors as well, low & high compression available)
sr16ve (nissan edition of their vvl(vtec) motor)
sr20ve (neo vvl 2.0; best motor for N/A route)
GtiR (Basically like a sr20deT motor; not 100% sure about this one but I've heard you can hit 13's easily with this once accurately installed)
sr20det (sr20 motor with a t25 turbo kit; bluebird or redtop)

I've got brothers & cousins who all own b13's/g20's..
One of them is on here..his sn is Wunquikser; he does all the installs himself; he'll tell you what you'll need. Hope I helped you out.

There are even different versions of the very own N/A SR20DE motor. Highport which you can find in the B13 sentras and NX2k's. There is also the lowport which you find in the 1994 Sentra Se-R, Nissan 200sx se-r, Nissan Sentra SE-L and infiniti G20. People claim there is a slight higher HP differece between the lowport and highport because of the intake manifold design and emissions restrictions.

The 98+ Nissan Sentra SE-L, newer infiniti G20's and the 00-01 Nissan sentra SE all share the Roller rocker motors which are not the strongest SR20 motor between them all.

You can also find the UK 10.1 compression motor which it claims to have 150 HP but they are a little harder to find.

if thats not the case then, basically you'll need everything from a se-r..motorwise get a jdm highport and goodluck to ya and ya friend and have fun..

I sold my 94 LE for 1800 and bought a 91 SE-R, You can get a SE-R fairly cheap. If you are willing to put in the money to swap, do a VE, those things are nasty
