    well.... i kinda disagree.... didnt Hondas really become poppin in the mid 90s?
    didnt VW, Toyota's, Mazda's & Nissans run things?

    The scene didn't explode until young cats out of Cali started tuning civics. Back then (early 90's), it was pretty much older guys and the aftermarket industry was virtually nonexistent.
