E-85 $3.47 a gallon. Middle of Fayetteville, just past Mcdonalds heading north on 85, Citgo gas station just past Fina Mart. Stumbled on it by accident the other day and had to run a little through the Sentra to see how it likes it.

The one on the right? Across from the furniture place and Pizza Hut? Sweet...
That is awesome! I can't wait to put it to use. Good find!
I don't know why they don't put a sign outside the store, they'd sell a lot more of it. All the E-85 websites only show E-85 on the north side of ATL. Who knows how long they've had it.
I really need a bigger fuel pump now.
is it safe to run an regular cars? non turbo, etc?
Can you give me some of those websites? I didn't even realize we had it in the metro area.
wow, it's in a lot more places than it used to be. there only used to be 2 station in Ga that sold to the public.

The gas you buy now in Ga is 10% ethanol because of legislation put in place buy the director of the department of agriculture and the legislation. So gasoline in Ga is really E-10. Requiring 10% is good for corn farmers. A new vehicle can run about 20% ethanol w/o an issue, but the air fuel ratios for ethanol vs gasoline requires a lot more ethanol per mass of air than gasoline, a good bit more. Most fuel injected cars can compensate w/ closed loop fueling feed back........ to a point.Originally Posted by sleepys4

I don't think its that easy tim... you gotta tune for it plus there's like corrosion and stuff that happens.

uhh C16 ftw...
this stuff has made 600-700hp in a bunch of hondas. You have to have 1600cc injectors and a eliminator pump or comparable to do it... And that will support about 650.

i thought that i had read a while back s-thin about using ethanol yeilds less horse power and reduces fuel economy.. if i remember correctly. if i'm wrong. then o well
It does reduce fuel economy because of the alcohol content. It may be cheaper than gasoline, but you won't save any money, you'll actually end up spending more if you use it.
What about a 50/50 mix with ethanol and 93? could this be a useful combo?
no
